Raised in the Eastern Bay, shaped by international experience and deeply connected to Whakatāne, I’ve dedicated my life to building stronger, more vibrant communities. With a background in education and leadership roles my journey includes developing youth and sports programmes in Saudi Arabia to managing one of New Zealand’s busiest holiday parks at Ōhope Beach TOP 10.

Currently, as the acting General Manager at BOP Youth Development Trust, I lead seven vital programmes supporting rangatahi across the region. 

For the past nine years, I’ve proudly served on the Whakatāne-Ōhope Community Board, ensuring local voices are heard and acted upon. Now, I'm running for Mayor because I believe in community-first leadership. My focus will be on youth development, sustainability, smart growth, and transparency in local governance. 

This campaign is not about politics—it’s about people, purpose, and working together to create a Whakatāne we can all be proud of.
